Raevae Chrysostom (B.A., M.A.) is a teacher of Caribbean Union College (CUC) Secondary and Adjunct Voice lecturer of the University of the West Indies (UWI) Arts. She is a Trinidadian born artiste who grew up into a musically oriented family. However, she was initiated into her small family band as a drummer and not as a singer. It was only when her mother, the lead singer, had passed that she realized her calling.

Now a well-loved minister of the gospel, Chrysostom has sung not only for her Prime Minister, but with internationally renowned Grammy Award winners, like Larnelle Harris and Wintley Phipps. Her ministry has led her to sing in the United States, Ecuador, Chile, Mexico, Surinam and Guadeloupe, to name a few. As a Director of the Marilyn Chrysostom Scholarship Foundation (MCSF), her love and passion to serve others continue today as she contributes to local churches, orphanages, schools, elderly homes and the impoverished in her community
